"No good thing will the LORD withhold from those who do what is right." (Psalm 84:11)
There are incredible riches available when you invest in your relationship with God by spending time in His life-giving Word. Today's Scripture is a promise that assures you God has good things waiting for you. But you have to do your part, which is to "do what is right." This simply means to live according to the principles of God's Word. It begins when you find a quiet place where you can be still, hear the voice of God and gain the strength you need to fight the good fight of faith.
Take time every day in God's presence, praying and filling your mind with Scripture. The exciting thing about meditating on God's Word is that even when you leave your quiet place and start another busy day, your mind and spirit are still processing what you read —which means the benefits of meditating on Scripture last all day!
Prayer:
God, I praise You for Your awesome promise that You will not withhold anything good from me when my life is pleasing to You. Help me to do what is right in Your sight today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
