GOD says MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER AGAIN BE PUT TO SHAME

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your GOD, who has dealt wondrously with you and MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER AGAIN BE PUT TO SHAME. You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I the Lord am your GOD and there is no other & MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER AGAIN BE PUT TO SHAME. (JOEL 2:26-27)

Lets place our 100% HOPE in JESUS.
He is the anchor of our faith.
He is our fortress when we are in trouble.
Place your TRUST in JESUS,
He shall perform wonders in your life.
Unless he does,
who else can help you in the time of your need ?
GOD shall take care of you.
He shall fill you with his immense love and make you a blessing.

GOD says ...
MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER AGAIN BE PUT TO SHAME...
and he reconfirms same by repeating it again.

To everyone
reading this small note.
I pray that the grace of GOD
brings victory in your life throughout this month.
In Jesus name let there be fullness in every lacking part of your life.
Amen.

Opened and Closed Doors

a dear friend of mine sent this to me and I thought it was worth sharing with you.

We need to learn to thank the Lord for closed doors just as much as we do for open doors. The reason God closes doors is because He has not prepared anything over there for us.

If he didn't close the wrong door we would never find our way to the right door. Even when we don't realize it, God directs our paths through the closing and opening of doors. When one door closes, it forces us to change our course. Another door closes; it forces us to change our course yet again.

Then finally, we find the open door and walk right into our blessing. But instead of praising God for the closed door (which kept us out of trouble), we get upset because we "judge by the appearances." And in our own arrogance, or ignorance, we insist that we know what is right.

We have a very present help in the time of need who is always standing guard. Because He walks ahead of us, He can see trouble down the road and HE sets up road blocks and detours accordingly. But through our lack of wisdom we try to tear down the roadblocks or push aside the detour signs. Then the minute we get into trouble, we start crying "Lord how could this happen to me?"

We have got to realize that the closed door was a blessing. Didn't He say that "No good thing will He withhold from them that love Him?"

If you get terminated from your job - don't be down, instead thank God for the new opportunities that will manifest themselves - it might be a better job, or an opportunity to go to school. If that man or woman won't return your call - it might not be them, it might be the Lord setting up a roadblock (just let it go).

I'm so grateful, for the many times God has closed doors to me, just to open them in the most unexpected places. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way." (Psalms 37:23)

The Mountain top is glorious, but it is in the Valley that I will grow!

Always Remember God gives you...
Enough Happiness to keep you Sweet
Enough Trials to keep you Strong
Enough Sorrows to keep you Human
Enough Hope to keep you Happy
Enough Failure to keep you Humble
Enough Success to keep you Eager
Enough Friends to give you Comfort
Enough Wealth to meet your Needs
Enough Enthusiasm to make you look forward
Enough Faith to banish depression
Enough Determination to make each day a better day than
the last.

Life must be lived forward but can only be understood backwards. Commit to the Lord in whatever you do and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3)

If you love God share this and He will continue to open and close doors

Tomorrow is almost upon you

"Faithful is He that called you, who also will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

"BE FAITHFUL TODAY, FOR TOMORROW IS ALMOST UPON YOU--IT IS NEARLY TIME TO TAKE YOU FROM HERE TO THERE!"
God Said, "SOME ARE STUCK HERE, NOT ABLE TO GET THERE, BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THE PATH WOULD BE EASY"

"Many of My anointed ones are confused because they were under the impression that serving Me would be easier than what they are now experiencing," says the Lord. "My yoke is easy, but the ministry was never meant to be. The more you rest in Me, the easier the path will be for you. The yoke is My will for you, and it allows you to get through the testing and the tough times, but if you are not properly yoked, all things will seem hard (Matthew 11:28-30). You can tell if you are properly yoked, not by outward circumstances, but by allowing My peace to command the raging waves of turmoil to retreat, allowing a great inner calm (Mark 4:39).

"I never panic. If you are resting in Me, you will never experience fear. Be careful though, occasionally I have even allowed answers to 'self prayers,' because some insisted on their own way, but it will always bring sorrow to your souls, 'And He gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul' (Psalm 106:15).

"Some of My shepherds are oppressed," says the Lord, "wondering why their vineyard is experiencing disruption and being in continual flux. Remember, I never promised your vineyard peace (Isaiah 5:4-5), I promised YOU peace as you labor in that vineyard (2 Thessalonians 3:16). You tend to My sheep and do your best, but remember they have to individually decide whether to obey.

"The tares will grow with the wheat until I come (Matthew 13:30). That is why you must love all the sheep, because sometimes they look like tares but are simply wounded children. Did you know that in the past some thought you were a tare, when you were simply going though a painful time? Don't you wish they would have loved you through the trial? Aren't you glad some did (1 Thessalonians 5:14)? Go, and do likewise, and I will take you from here to there."

God Said, "SOME ARE STUCK HERE, UNABLE TO GET THERE, BECAUSE THEY CRITICIZE MY ANOINTED ONES"

"The Body of My Son is vast and diverse. If you go to one end and listen to a choice servant, then go to the other end and listen to a different servant, you might think they were not attached to the same head, but they are (1 Corinthians 12:14). You see only in part at this time and are not qualified to judge everyone (1 Corinthians 13:12). Yes, I do call some to discipline the sheep and to hold them accountable, but only if they are overseeing them at the time.

"Never judge from a distance; only I can do that. You started out strong, and your steps were bounding with joy. Then the troubles came, and they not only stayed, but increased. Do not be confused. Did I not warn you that you are sent as 'lambs among wolves' (Luke 10:3)? My yoke is easy, but the path I called you to is not (1 Corinthians 16:9).

"Yet, I am the One whose job it is to judge them," says the Lord, "not you (Luke 10:10-16). Some have Pastors, overseers and managers that are unreasonable, mean or simply overbearing. Submit to them as you would to Me (Ephesians 6:5). I will be promoting some of you there' because you have been faithful here. I will change their hearts as you model Mine (John 20:21). You say, 'I can't take it anymore.' You greatly err; you are stronger than you think (Philippians 4:13). Silently obey Me, and I will promote you to 'My there.'"

God Said, "YOU'VE BEEN HERE WAY TOO LONG, I WANT TO TAKE YOU THERE--GET READY"

"There ahead of you is your destiny," says the Lord. "The hope, the dream and the fulfillment of My promise--it's simply staring you in the face! Here is where you are now, but how you conduct yourself today has everything to do with where I will take you tomorrow--My there. Extend My grace to others when you least feel like doing so--it will prepare you to go from here to there. Determine that you are serious to get to My there for you (Luke 9:62). You will get there by serving Me in the here and now (1 Corinthians 10:21, James 1:8).

"Are you serious about the vision you are following? If so, then build in the now (here) for what I have shown you in the future (there). If you are faithful in little, here, I will give you much there (Luke 19:17). Use the compass of praise, private prayer and undaunted searching in My word to guide you and keep you on course (Mark 4:14-20).

"Be faithful today--tomorrow is almost upon you, and it is nearly time to take you from here to there. Look up, it's approaching and you are about to leave here and arrive there--right where I've been waiting for you. Pack up, say goodbye, and prepare to leave here for there. My command is coming for many to move out--out there."

What does the future look like?

From the world's point of view the future seems unclear, uncertain, and unstable. When it comes to your future, God has a different point of view. God sees your future with perfect clarity, He knows your future with absolute certainty, and He is directing your future toward a glorious destiny.

How can you be assured of the future God has for you?

You can be assured because God is already there, because He is preparing the way ahead of you, and because He will take you by the hand and lead you into His plans for your future. You can trust Him with your future because He is wise and will not make a mistake; He is all-knowing and will not lose His way; He is good and will not bring you harm.

God does not ask you to plan your future, but He does ask you to trust Him and follow His plan. Trusting His plan will keep you from being worried, fearful or anxious about the future. Your future is as bright as the promises of God.

As you think about your future, let your faith embrace these bright promises of God :

"God's way is perfect.
All the LORD's promises prove true."
(II Samuel 22:31 NLT)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek His will in all you do,
and He will show you which path to take.
(Proverb 3:5-6 NLT)

The LORD says,
"I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you."
(Psalm 32:8 NLT)

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD.
"They are plans for good and not for disaster,
to give you a future and a hope."
(Jeremiah 29:12 NLT)

A Promise You Can Bank On

Did you know that the spirit of poverty can be on someone who has a lot of money? In fact, a lot of the world's wealthiest people have a spirit of poverty because they're afraid they're going to lose what they've got. And that's the real spirit of poverty-thinking you don't have enough no matter what you have.

That was the spirit of the rich young ruler in Luke 18. He asked Jesus, "How can I get into the kingdom of heaven?" And Jesus answered, "You lack one thing. I want you to give." The young man responded, "Wait a minute. I'm wealthy. Don't touch my money. That's mine!" He was afraid that if he became a giver like Jesus had told him, he'd lose it all. And he refused to become a seed-sower.

One of the greatest things I've learned since I became a Christian is how to make my life a seed. How to sow unto the Lord. How to invest my money, time, and talents into things that please God. Because when I do, God fulfills His promise, which says, "Prove Me now ... if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes." (Malachi 3:10-11).

There is a mystery about giving and receiving.
Proverbs 11:24 says "that you can give, yet gain even more; or withhold and come to poverty."
"God promises, He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully." II Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV).
And that's a promise you can bank on!

My Declaration of Faith for Today:
My heart is set on You, O Lord, to please You and obey Your Word.

Remember, "Something GOOD is going to happen to you!"

Do you feel disappointed or hopeless?

Disappointment and hopelessness seem to run together sometimes. We can fail to the point of finally giving up and not having hope for a bright future. Our God is the God of redemption, restoration, and brilliant futures for all of His people. Only in deception can we miss the fact that in Him, defeat is temporary and it often becomes strength for the journey.

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them." (Romans 8:28)

Notice it says "everything" works together for the good of us. This means that despite the good things that come:
Defeat works together for the good,
Delay works together for the good,
Lack works together for the good,
Loss works together for the good,
Sickness works together for the good,
And finally, even Death works together for the good
for all of us, His children.

The Lord promises that the end result for all of us is triumphant, so be patient and be encouraged beloved of God.

Days of our lives

"Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed." (Psalm 139:16)

These are the kinds of verses that keep theologians up at night. If God had already recorded every moment of David's life before he ever lived it, what does that say for his choices? Does that make him a sort of robot? How can he be made responsible for his actions when God already mapped out his life?

I don't know. To try and find answers to questions like these seems to me an attempt to play God. I go on the assumption that God is operating on a whole different level of engagement than my little pea brain can negotiate. How God can have a person's life mapped out and still make them responsible for the choices they make is one of those things I have come to just believe even though it doesn't make sense in my head. There are limitations to being human.

What I can know about this, however, is how significant this makes everything in my life. Nothing is happening to me by accident. My moments were all thought up in the mind of God, and they are all geared toward shaping me for a particular service that no one but I can perform. God uses everything in my life – whatever I've experienced, whatever I've learned – to make me into a person fit for that which I can do in his Kingdom here on earth. And the same is true for you.

We are not autonomous, isolated individuals – masters of our own fate and servants of no one. We are actually a part of a grand display wherein the lives of billions upon billions are intertwined together. What we do affects those around us, and God has taken all that into account.

Therefore, if my life is that important, and God has already recorded it and mapped it out, doesn't that make it even more compelling that I find out what it is that he has for me to do? This is not a chore; it's a privilege and an adventure.

God does not intend to waste anything in my life, or yours. Our talents, gifts, and natural abilities all go together to make someone fit to serve.

Gotta serve somebody
Gotta serve somebody
May be the devil; may be the Lord
But you're gonna have to serve somebody.
— Bob Dylan

We may be small, but we are by no means insignificant.

Struggled with God's promises

Have you ever struggled with God's promises to you? Has it ever seemed like there was no end in sight to the storm you were facing?

Sometimes when you are going through hardship, you wonder, "When am I going to get through this?" "When is this storm cloud going to go away?" "When are things going to get better?"

It reminds of the Gospel account of Jesus and His disciples at the Sea of Galilee, when He sent them ahead by boat to the other side. But as they were making their way across, a huge storm came along. It got worse and worse. The disciples began to despair of their very lives.

Matthew 14:25 tells us that during the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them. The fourth watch is that time of night just before dawn, meaning that the disciples had been at sea fighting this storm and trying to get out of it for eight long hours. Then when the storm was raging, when it seemed like it would go on forever, Jesus came to them, walking on the water.

Many times He will come to us in the fourth watch. We pray, "Oh, Lord, come through now. Do it now." But the Lord says, "Hang on. I will be there when the time is right."

Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us that "He has made everything beautiful in its time."

Along with His will, God has His timing. Sometimes we grow anxious. Sometimes we want things to happen a little more quickly than they ought to.

But God has His timing. And He is never late!

If your heart is breaking

For Christmas this year, a dear friend gave me a reprint of a book from the mid 1890's. It a recipe book of sorts and it tells how to make everything from common household cleaners to medication to explosives. The recipes and information are fascinating, although I don't think I'll try most of them.

One of the things I learned how to make was called Prince Rupert's Drops or Prince Rupert's Tears. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS. The tears are made by letting drops of molten glass fall into a tub of cold water. As the glass hits the water and cools, it creates beautiful tear shaped drops. They are hard and clear, and have a small tail of glass on them.

The inner part cools more slowly and contracts. This places the entire outer surface of the drop in strong compression and hardens it so much that you can hit it with a hammer on a concrete slab without breaking it.

The amazing thing is that when you hold a drop and break off its tail, the drop explodes into fine powder and the explosion can be felt in your hand. I suspect that a vacuum must be formed when the glass hits the water and when air is let in, the drop can't handle the pressure change.

At first I thought the recipe was simply one of those interesting but useless pieces of trivia that catch my attention from time to time. The more I thought about it, the more I realized what an apt metaphor for life it was.

Our hearts can be as beautiful as Prince Rupert's Tears and just as fragile. We go through life with hearts that are hard and empty. An event will occur that shatters our heart and we're left holding nothing but dust. The impact of the brokenness rocks our world. It is in that moment that many of us realize that we need a relationship with Jesus.

Fortunately we serve the God who mends the broken hearted. When we encounter them, we can share the reason for our joy.

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect (1Peter 3:15-16a NIV)

If you heart is breaking, turn to the one who can heal it.
If you know someone with a broken heart, tell him or her about Jesus.

You Are Safe in God

Uphold me according to your promise,
that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope!
Hold me up, that I may be safe
and have regard for your statutes continually!
(Psa 119:116-117 ESV)

This world can sometimes be a pretty tough and cold place.
It's often hard to feel safe and loved
in an environment where most people fight for their own survival.

If you know God in an intimate way,
He can provide for you a place of comfort and safety
where you can be yourself and know that you are loved as you are.

He doesn't harm you, nor does He demand anything from you
in order for you to receive His love.
He is the only place where you can feel totally safe and wanted.

Where you know that you count and are special – very special.
If you want to experience that love, just surrender your all to Him.
Let go of your fear, pride, anger and unbelief.

He knows you better than you know yourself,
and he loves you more than anyone else.

Day after day He carries our burdens

The trip to the office that day was extremely hard. The thin fog along the road decorating the green trees that used to make a lovely view doesn't capture the imagination any more. Starting the day really was difficult, considering the unsettling news of last night. My father who had been suffering from hypertension had suddenly felt dizzy and then collapsed; perhaps his blood pressure wasn't normal. All kinds of feelings stirred inside my heart, "Don't take my father yet, Lord!" I whispered. This heavy feeling suddenly changed and my heart was filled with heavenly joy when I read the Scripture before me, "Praise the Lord, who carries our burdens day after day; He is the God who saves us" (Psalms 68:19). With this Scripture in mind, I resumed the day with a light heart. God carried my burden that day, and changed it to joy.

Every new day is a gift from the Father. It starts when we open our eyes in the morning, then through our activities in the day until we close our eyes again to rest at night. There are many things that we will be doing during the day; there are routine tasks, targets to be achieved, stacks of work in the office to be tackled, meetings, vacations, prayer meetings, and a whole lot of other activities that will sap our energy and mental power. All of which seem too difficult, particularly when the day is highlighted with problems surrounding our lives that need our attention.

But did you know that every day God carries our burdens for us? Did you realize that no matter how heavy the burden, it wouldn't make a difference in the mighty hands of the Lord who carries it for us? Often, when we go through tough times, we feel we are carrying the heavy load alone, when in fact the Lord is carrying it for us in His most amazing way. Everything that happens in the lives of God's children is not a coincidence. There are many ways for God to prove to us that day after day He is the one who is actually carrying all our burdens for us.

If every day God carries our burdens for us, this means we don't need to concern ourselves with what might happen, what we might face during the day. Because whatever form it takes, God will carry the burden for us, we only need to let Him take over all of our days. You'll see that your days will be more wonderful.

Life been tough?

"In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world." ( John 16:33)
Ever feel like sometimes life just "doesn't make sense.?"
Why do "bad things happen to good people"?
Why did Murphy have to have a law?
Why is it "always in the last place you look"?
Why does "good news" always have to come with bad news?
Why can't you sleep when you are really overtired?
Why does the drive-thru get your order wrong when you are most hungry?
Why is it you don't realize the batteries in the flashlight are dead until the power goes out?
Why indeed the answer to all of these (and countless other questions) is because life doesn't make sense. Sometimes life doesn't have to make sense actually - at no time does it have to make sense.

God didn't promise that life would make sense. He didn't promise the neat and clean. He didn't promise the quick or simple. He didn't promise answers to your questions, only solutions to your needs. The Holy Spirit didn't come to lead us to logic, but to truth and to love.

Jesus, Himself, told us that the world would have trouble.... He didn't promise everything would be easy, in fact He promised us the opposite. As we see in this verse, Jesus promised us that things would be tough. But, He also promised us that He has conquered this imperfect world. So, what does this mean for you and I?

It means we need to stop asking "why" and "what if" so much and just ask "how"? How do you want me to respond to this situation, Lord? How can I lead the most people to you this day, God? How will your will be done in this scenario, Father?

You put His will first and you'll soon notice that the "what ifs" cease to matter and the "whys" are no longer a concern. How you love Him is the key. It's in that "how" that you will come across the courage that Christ is talking about in this verse today.

Wake up every morning and before your feet hit the floor and say to Jesus, "Show me how to be like you today, Lord." If you pray that sincerely today will be different. Every day will be. What if you do and things still go wrong? Why would you worry about that? Jesus told you He's in control and that He's conquered the world. How silly for us to worry after a promise like that, huh?
How's that for simple? Live life for Him and you'll have a life worth living.
Life been tough? by Mark Hart at lifeteen.com

Hope for You Today

We now know that God had not abandoned His people. He would redeem them when the timing was right. He brings them hope and promises for a new day.
"As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the LORD. "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you." (Isaiah 59:21-60:2 NIV)

We always have the choice to respond to God's promise and deliverance or to reject it. Hope comes in our response to His promise and trust in Him. Even some of those who came home to freedom remained discontented and returned willingly to bondage.

God is our hope, offered through His Son Jesus Christ. It is freely offered to all who will accept it, but most will reject it. Even some who come into the house of hope will choose to abandon it and return to their oppression. God is gentle with the hope He offers. He will not forcefully free anyone. It is freely offered.

I do not know what is oppressing you, but I know you can be free in the hope and promises of God no matter what your situation.

Double Your Blessings

"Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double" (Zechariah 9:12)

We love to take our children to get ice cream. Once when they were little, our daughter was bumped by one of her friends; down went hercone and out came the tears. We usually only buy her a single scoop, but something made us say, "Alexandra, this time I'm going to get you a triple scoop."

Do you know that when God restores what you have lost, He doesn't just give you a single scoop ...

He promises to give you more than you have lost! No matter what has been taken away from you, no matter what you've lost or experienced in the past, if you give it over to the Lord, He will return to you more than you could ask or imagine. He'll make things right and give you more than what was lost or stolen. He'll restore double what was lost!

Prayer,
God, I believe my better days are still to come. The pain in my life prepares me to receive twice what I have lost, so I will face whatever comes with steadfast faith. Thank you for giving me this hope. In Jesus' Name – Amen.
